Hopper's Story
Hopper came into rescue around December of 2025. Hopper had a severe head wound that end up being a gunshot wound. Thankfully with that thick pittie head he was able to survive it. It took over a month of daily wound cleaning it finally healed and all that’s left is a small scar on the top of his head. He honestly never even acted like he had been shot.
While vetting him we did learn he had heart worms. Those have been treated. He’s received all vaccines, and he just got neutered now that his body is recovered from the heartworm treatment.
Hopper is a very much so a Velcro dog. He never knew love and attention before coming into rescue. He loves to cuddle next to people, give hugs, sleeping in bed with his family is his best time. He loves playing with his toys and playing fetch. Hopper has met our cats however he has not learned what personal space is. Once he has a new friend he’s very in their face. He’s never made an aggressive move towards my other dogs or cats. He just doesn’t understand what personal space is.
Hopper would love to find a home to call his own and someone that truly loves him for him. He has the cutest face with the dopest eyes that just stare into you and melt you.
