Hope's Story
Hope — Because Every Little Dog Deserves a Big Happy Ending!

Meet Hope, an adorable 3-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing in at just 8 pounds! This tiny little girl was believed to have been abandoned in Fairmount City, but thankfully, her story didn’t end there. She found her way to rescue, and now we’re determined to make sure her next chapter is the one she’s been waiting for.

Hope is a sweet little snuggle bug who believes that being held is pretty much the best thing ever — because, obviously, she’s a Chihuahua! She may be a little shy when she first meets you, but give her a few gentle pets and a little love, and she warms up quickly. Once she decides you're her person, you’ll have yourself a tiny best friend.

She does wonderfully with other dogs. She can be a little unsure at first, but it doesn't take long before she’s ready to join the fun and play with her new friends. She also does well with cats and children. Because Hope is only 8 pounds, we think older, respectful children would be the best fit simply because she is so tiny and needs gentle handling.

Hope is doing well with potty training and crate training, is typically a pretty quiet girl, and has absolutely not one mean bone in her little body. She hasn't met a stranger she couldn't eventually charm.

Hope doesn't need anything fancy. She just needs someone who will love her, keep her safe, let her snuggle when she asks, and remind her every day that she was worth saving.

Sometimes the smallest paws leave the biggest footprints on your heart.

If you’re ready for an 8-pound professional cuddler, part-time playmate, and full-time sweetheart, Hope would love to meet you!

Adoption Information
Hope's tax deductible adoption fee is $500 and includes everything she needs to start her new life with you. Every Once Upon a Prayer Rescue dog goes home with:
-Collar
-Leash
-Two food bowls
-A toy
-Some dog food
-A copy of all available medical records
-Microchip information

Interested in Hope?
Please email Once Upon a Prayer Rescue at onceuponaprayerrescue@gmail.com with the subject line “Hope.”
You will receive an automatic reply with our pre-screening form, which must be completed and returned before a meet-and-greet with Hope can be scheduled.
We can't wait to help Hope find the family she's been hoping for.
