Meet Hope
Hope is a roughly one year-old, medium size, mixed-breed sweetheart who is looking for her permanent home.
As the story goes, she ran off from her previous owners in New Mexico and was relinquished to a rescue operation there. She eventually ended up at Denver’s Planned Pethood Plus veterinarian clinic, where she’s been spayed, checked out, and given a clean bill of health. She is ready to be adopted out.
Hope’s a sweet-natured, curious and playful girl, but a bit skittish and easily startled by loud noises, so she may be a flight risk (plus she would dearly love to chase a squirrel). She would need to always be leashed or harnessed when going out as a precaution. She loves a long walk, and would probably really enjoy being a running partner. She gets on well with other dogs, is house trained, uses a dog door, and likes riding in the car.
Hope is a fairly high energy dog, so she would need regular exercise, and a secure, fenced in backyard would be ideal for her to run around in.
While her breed mix isn’t entirely clear, she has at least some Greyhound running through her, bearing an uncanny resemblance to Santa’s Little Helper of The Simpsons fame.
