What is Hawkins County Humane Society Animal Shelter’s adoption process?

Hawkins County Humane Society is a 501c3 shelter and organization that serves as the only resource for homeless animals in the Hawkins County Area.  Our services include the gentle care of homeless dogs, puppies, cats and kittens.  We are looking to make the shelter better in any way possible. Our staff of highly caring individuals provides care 7 days a week, as well as support to the public in the form of adoption and placement support, referencing of animal related calls to appropriate government bodies, and of course, the cooperation and coordination of volunteer efforts, including this Petfinder page.  Please feel free to let them know your appreciation for the difficult job they perform. Efforts are made to keep this site as up-to-date as possible but we always advise that you contact the shelter with any specific questions regarding availability (of cats or dogs by size, type or age). Hope is good with other dogs. It is not known if Hope is good with cats.

When can I meet Hope?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.

When can I adopt Hope?
