Hope's Story

Hi my name is Hope! I am a 2 year old female mastiff mix looking for my forever home. I was taken in my a local shelter after being found in terrible condition and then was brought to RAIN. I was emaciated, almost bald from flea dermatitis and demodex, blind in one eye, sick with a URI, and heartworm positive. I have spent the last 5 weeks taking meds, getting medicated baths, eating great, and having my spay and eye removal surgeries. I have gained over 10lbs, my hair has grown in, my cold is gone, and I have undergone by heartworm treatments and should test negative at my next appointment. I am good with other dogs, cats, and children. Though I am a larger girl so I can knock small children or older adults on accident. Won't you give me my forever home?Thank you for your interest in our adoptable pet. Please note that while we do our best to describe the pet in detail, some items such as breed and age can be "best guesses" since many of our animals come in without previous records. RAIN does not guarantee size of our animals at adult age nor will we guarantee breeds of animals.
