Hoosier's Story

We've Got Great News

Despite being hit very hard by a car, our boy Hoosier has left the vet this morning! He does have a little bruising on his lungs and some scrapes and other bruises but should recover fully from the accident.

What he does have a head of him, though his heartworms. Upon arrival at the Vet office, they found him to be anemic due to the amount of fleas he had. The heartworm test revealed high positive. I hate to think this poor boy had to get hit by a car so that he could find a better life, but I believe that's the case. Being an older dog, heartworms can be very tricky. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers, and if you can donate for his treatment!

Releashed Rescue is committed to make sure this boy is taken care of and finds the best home ever!
