Hooch's Story

"Come on! Hooch! Hooch for the pooch!"

There were five of us that were abandoned on the vet's front porch. I was left in a rabbit cage with who they believe was one of my siblings. Due to my rough start, I am extremely timid and shy. I am getting better but I need a home with a lot of patience that can help me work through my insecurities. But once I get used to someone, I don't want to be apart. I've been told I have the "typical pit bull personality," whatever that means. Maybe it's because I don't know what personal space is, I always want to be close, and I want to lay right on my human. Once I get comfortable, I'm a total love bug!!

I am neutered, microchipped, and up to day on all my shots. I am absolutely ready to start my next chapter in my forever home!

**Meet and greets are performed with every potential adoption. We prefer that all adoptions that go through the rescue are "foster to adopt." Both measures assures that the human/s and the canine/s are a good fit and there are no immediate concerns.

Erica's Rescues & Humane Society's Adoption Policy
The adoption process always starts with an adoption application. Once approved, that application can be used for any of our animals for up to a year from the date on the application. Then we schedule a meet n greet. If all goes well we sign adoption papers, however we also may sometimes suggest a foster to adopt to make sure the animal is a proper fit for the home and vise versa.
