Honeypot's Story
Thirty seconds after meeting her she was giving kisses.
Honeypot isn’t shy with her affection. She seemed starved for both love and food when we met her. She also came in with a bloody tail from whatever tight space she was kept in. That makes a hard start to shelter life where happy tail is easy to get already. Honeypot isn’t letting anything bring her down. She loves all her new volunteer friends (and their treats of course). Now let’s show Honeypot the outside world can be even better in a good home.

Chicago Animal Care and Control is located at 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL, and is open from 12pm to 7pm daily. Walk-in visitors are welcome and helped on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are planning to adopt the day you visit, please plan to arrive before 5:30pm. Visitors arriving after 5:30pm will still be able to view animals in Pavilions A-B-C until 7pm.

All dogs will be spayed/neutered and vaccinated before adoption.

All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers).

We recommend and can arrange dog-to-dog meet and greets for your current dog(s) to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for your dog(s). Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.

If you have any questions, please email caccpetfinder@gmail.com

A306725
