Honeybee's Story

Honeybee is a sweet and happy young girl, around 8 months old, who is ready to find the loving family she has always deserved. After coming from a hoarding situation out of state, Honeybee is finally getting the chance to experience life as a cherished family member—and she is embracing it with her whole heart.

Honeybee is currently working on her potty training and crate training. While she doesn't love being confined in her crate, she's making wonderful progress and has even started choosing to go in on her own throughout the day to relax and rest.

This friendly pup loves being outside, where she can explore the yard, chase birds and squirrels, and satisfy her curiosity about the world. She also enjoys chew toys, squeaky toys, and being right in the middle of the action with both her human and canine companions. Honeybee loves feeling like part of the pack and thrives on companionship.

Honeybee does have a bit of a watchdog streak and will bark when other dogs in the home bark or when she sees dogs passing by. Because of this, a single-family home may be a better fit than a multi-unit living situation.

While Honeybee would be happy as an only dog, she would also enjoy having canine siblings to play and socialize with. Most of all, she's looking for a family that will continue to help her build confidence and show her the love and stability she has been missing.

If you're looking for a sweet, resilient pup with a bright future ahead of her, Honeybee may be the perfect addition to your family!

Stop by our weekly adoption events on Saturdays from 11:00-3:00pm at 372 Townline Road in Mundelein, IL 60060 to meet our adoptable animals in person.

Follow us on Facebook for additional updates and sneak peeks of new adoptables! https://www.facebook.com/reachrescue
