Honey - PAWS's Story
Hi, my name is Honey. I came to APA in early 2025 from the big shelter, but I was originally from a rescue in El Paso. Then I went to the PAWS prison-training program in April 2026 and graduated a few months later. I did really well there. My trainer said I am smart and lovable and will make a good family dog for the right match. I get along much better with other dogs now, too. And I take anxiety medications because I do have some issues with fixating on lights and shadows, etc. I am a big gal who just wants to be a lap dog. And I love every person I meet.
