Honey Lemon's Story

At 3 years old and 57 lbs, Honey Lemon is the perfect blend of sweetness, curiosity, and calm confidence. She's a semi-independent girl who enjoys companionship but is also perfectly content exploring the world at her own pace.

Honey Lemon is *wonderful* right from the start - she's very easy to get out of the kennel, easy to harness, and settles into walks beautifully. She walks well on leash, only offering a little pull when something interesting catches her attention. Out in public, she's friendly, polite, and keeps all four paws on the ground when meeting new people.

She rides well in the car, takes in new places with a steady curiosity, and presents herself like she's been doing this her whole life. Honey Lemon loves treats (even if she gets a little slobbery while taking them!) and would be fun to train thanks to that motivation. She may pull slightly toward people or other dogs, but can be redirected.

Honey Lemon would make a lovely companion for anyone looking for a sweet, easygoing, and inquisitive friend. She's the kind of dog who fits right into your day - whether you're out on a walk or relaxing at home.

As always, we strongly recommend that resident dogs meet any new potential canine family members. If bringing a resident dog for a dog to dog test, please bring proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines.

To meet your new pet, come to Guilford County Animal Services between 12 and 4 any day except Tuesday!
