Honey's Story

Honey is a pretty girl, not quite 2 years old, with a charming personality. Her heart and personality are German Shepherd, --she just didn't get those stand-up ears! She is house-trained, plays fetch, and has been an indoor/outdoor dog. She knows the commands sit, and bed, and of course likes getting a tasty treat as a reward. She adores being with people and is happy when she gets to be out of the kennel and go to the play yard, or go for a walk. She’s so social! Honey lived with another dog and was a happy girl. Then her dad deployed and it wasn’t working out at home. She would love to be in a family again. We recommend bringing your dog to a meet-and-greet at the shelter if you're thinking of adding Honey to your family. But she would be fine as your only fur kid too. She is affectionate and likes going for a walk on leash. She's been at the shelter quite a while, and is dreaming of a new loving home with people who are big-dog savvy and can make her a real member of the family, forever this time, please. If you would like to meet her, please do give us a call and we'll set up some get-acquainted time for you with her out in the play yard. She'd like to meet you! She is spayed, micro-chipped, up-to-date on vaccinations and flea/tick preventive. Ready to roll!

The public is welcome to come adopt the patriotic pets at the Camp Pendleton Animal Shelter! All dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, flea-treated, and micro-chipped prior to adoption. Adoption fee $110.

Even if you do not have regular, normal access to the base, please DO give us a call and we will work with you to arrange a meeting. 760-725-8120.
