He's crate trained, goes in happily with a treat, and is a rockstar when it comes to learning new skills.<br/><br/>Honey is also a very expressive boy. He talks, groans, howls, and isn't afraid to voice his opinions. He'll let you know when he's overwhelmed or unhappy -- communication is his thing! If he's right beside you, though, he's content and quiet unless he needs something.<br/><br/>Honey does have some quirks. He struggles with resource guarding and prefers not to share his favorite things, which means he's looking for a dog-savvy home that understands boundaries and can continue working with him using positive reinforcement. Because of this, Honey would do best in a home without small children and may thrive as an only dog or with very careful management. He's currently working with a trainer and is making progress -- he just needs the right environment to shine.<br/><br/>Despite his challenges, Honey is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loyal.
