Honey's Story
Honey is as sweet as her nameāand she approaches life with the enthusiasm as she discovers the world. At 2 years and petite 33 pounds, she's the perfect sized companion, always ready for a play session, an adventure, or a cuddle on the couch. She loves meeting new people and quickly forms strong bonds with her family, happily handing out tail wags, kisses, and hugs along the way.

Honey enjoys playing with other dogs and would likely love a canine companion to help burn off some of her youthful energy. Like any young pup, she's still learning the ropes and benefits from play, exercise, and mental stimulation. Once she's had a chance to get her wiggles out, she's all about naps, snuggles, and being close to her people. She's treat-motivated, eager to learn, and already knows "sit" and "place." Honey loves neighborhood walks, car rides, and tagging along on everyday adventures. She's curious about squirrels and other wildlife but is responding well to training and would benefit from continued work on leash manners, impulse control, and obedience. She's potty trained, does well in her crate when home alone, and settled into her foster home in just a week.

Honey is looking for an active family who will continue her training, include her in everyday life, and appreciate her playful spirit. With a little guidance and lots of love, this happy girl will reward you with endless affection, plenty of laughs, and a lifetime of loyal companionship. She would love a fenced yard to play in, a doggie sibbling or friends, and a person to snuggle - can you be that person?

PAW adopts in the MD, northern VA, DC, and southern PA region.
