Honey

Honey is 6 months old and weighs 12 lbs. Honey came into our rescue as a stray. He was so terribly matted and must have lived outside in the rain in order to get that matted in such a short period of time. The day we received him we shaved him for 4 hours. After 4 hours he did not want anymore. We took him to the vet the next morning to have him sedated to finish shaving his face and front feet. The vet recommended getting him neutered, his hernia repaired and his baby tooth removed and they would finish shaving him because we would have to pay $250 for sedation alone. He had matts under his eyes 1 1/2 inches thick, he could hardly see. When he came into the foster home, It took him about a week for him to realize he is a dog and to learn how to be a dog. He uses pee pads and we are working on training him to go outside. We named him Honey because he is so sweet even after having such a rough start in life. Honey will make a great addition to any family.
