Honey's Story
Meet Honey

Honey is an almost 10 month-old female Boxer/Pit mix who came into our care as a stray after being abandoned. Born at the end of May, she is still very much a puppy and currently thriving in a loving foster home while she waits for her forever family.

Honey’s personality is the perfect mix of sweet and silly. She is a total love bug who wants to be right by your side at all times truly a personal shadow. She can be a bit of a scaredy cat in new situations, but once she feels safe, her playful, hyper puppy energy shines. Honey will happily curl up on your head to sleep (snoring included!) and then bounce up ready to play the next moment. She is extremely food and toy motivated, very smart, and eager to learn. Her foster has already taught her stay, down, paw, spin, focus, and heel, and she would absolutely excel in continued obedience training. When she’s not zooming through the house, Honey lives up to her name as a total little cherub.

Honey was found abandoned and taken in as a stray, and we are so grateful she landed in a foster home where she’s been able to decompress, learn, and show just how special she is.

She has received her initial vaccinations and already has been spayed. Based on her breed mix, Honey is expected to grow into a medium-to-large adult dog.

Honey is looking for an adopter who understands puppy energy and is ready to continue her training, provide structure, and give her plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and love. A home that will embrace both her playful zoomies and her cuddly, affectionate side would be the perfect match for this sweet girl.

If you’re ready to welcome a smart, goofy, loyal companion into your life, Honey might just be the one.
