Honey's Story

Meet Honey & Bee!

Honey and Bee are two sweet senior sisters looking for a soft place to land and a family to love. These adorable Terrier mixes are both 8 years old, with Honey weighing 11 pounds and Bee weighing 14 pounds. While they are not officially bonded and could be adopted separately if necessary, they have spent their entire lives together, and we would love nothing more than to see them find a forever home where they can continue their journey side by side.

These girls found themselves in rescue through no fault of their own after their beloved owner sadly passed away. Despite the loss and changes in their lives, Honey and Bee have remained the gentle, loving companions theyve always been.

If youre looking for easy dogs, these two fit the bill perfectly. Honey and Bee are calm, affectionate, and wonderfully well-mannered. They love being held, enjoy spending time with their people, and are happiest when theyre curled up in a cozy dog bed or soaking up the sunshine on a warm afternoon.

Both girls are house-trained and crate-trained, sleep quietly through the night, and do an excellent job going potty outside. They have settled beautifully into foster care and have proven themselves to be low-maintenance companions who simply enjoy lifes simple pleasures.

Honey and Bee coexist wonderfully with other dogs and cats. They arent interested in causing trouble or being the center of attentionthey simply share their space peacefully and go about their day. Their easygoing personalities make them a fantastic fit for almost any household looking for calm, loving companions.

These sweet sisters are past the puppy stage and have all the wonderful qualities that come with mature dogs. Theyre affectionate without being demanding, quiet without being shy, and content simply being near the people they love.

Honey and Bee are both spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and will receive health certificates prior to adoption. If youre looking to open your heart and home to two deserving little ladies who have spent a lifetime together, Honey and Bee would love the chance to spend their golden years surrounded by love. While they can be adopted separately if necessary, our greatest wish is for these lifelong sisters to stay together and continue sharing the comfort and companionship theyve always known.

https://www.livefreerescue.com/adoption-application
