Honey's Story
Meet Honey!

Honey is a female, chocolate Labrador retriever/Pitbull mix, and was born in March 2023! She is a sweet girl who is a little skiddish and shy at first, but once she learns to trust you, she is very affectionate and your best friend.

Honey loves belly rubs and is very treat-oriented. She knows sit, paw, crate, lay, and come. She does great with all animals, and is potty and crate trained! She is very polite- doesn’t jump or get on furniture. She bats playfully with her feet and gives super cute soft nips. When she gets excited she has the absolute cutest wiggle busts! She loves other dogs, kids, people, and just wants to be loved! She is energetic and would do best in a home with a yard! She is sweet as pie- she loves to play ball, food motivated, and her favorite command is paw!

She is working on her leash training and getting better with time and consistency! She would do best with a confident owner that wants to continue to work on her training and socialization. She lived with kids prior so she is good with kids! She is up to date on core vaccinations, on monthly preventatives, spayed, and heartworm negative.

Honey is being fostered in Richmond, VA. She will require an owner committed to continued training and socialization. Her adoption fee is $375. To apply to adopt Honey, visit www.beaglesandbentleys.org/adopt.

Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption.

Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
