Honey's Story
Meet Honey!

Sweet, snuggly, friendly, and oh-so-easygoing—that’s our girl Honey! At 12 years old and just 11 pounds, Honey may be a senior, but she still enjoys getting out for a little walk or even a happy little run. And did we mention she’s a tripod? Don’t let that fool you—this girl gets around really well on three legs and enjoys exploring just like any other pup!

Honey is one of those special dogs who seems to love absolutely everyone—two-legged and four-legged alike. She plays nicely with other dogs, is respectful of her furry friends, happily coexists with cats without bothering them and does well with respectful children. She’s wonderful with people and loves every guest she meets. She’d do well in just about any home, as long as she has someone who will give her plenty of love, companionship, and snuggle time. She enjoys chewing on a good bone and has the cutest habit of snuggling with socks and slippers.

She’s good on a leash and enjoys her short walks, but she’s also perfectly content to hang out with her people. Honey does have occasional potty accidents, but on a consistent schedule these are very few. She hasn’t needed to use a crate in her foster home.

Honey’s previous life included sleeping in her owner’s bed, so this little lady definitely knows the joys of being someone’s cuddle buddy. She would be happiest with a person or family who has plenty of time to spend with her. Car rides make her anxious, so a home where travel is kept to a minimum would be best.

Honey doesn’t need a fancy life—she just needs a loving person who will appreciate her sweet senior heart, keep her close, and let her spend her days doing what she does best: loving everyone she meets and soaking up all the cuddles she can get.
