Weighing in at just 8 lbs, Honey may be small, but her personality is starting to shine in the biggest way.<br/><br/>Honey came to us when her owner, sadly, passed away. At first, she we thought she was showing a spicy attitude, but we soon found out that is how she plays. Thanks to the love and patience of her foster home, she’s really blossomed into a loving companion. She’s learning the ropes, but Honey has shown she’s eager to embrace the good life!<br/><br/>Here’s what Honey loves:<br/>*Treats and her food<br/>*Snuggling with her favorite humans on the couch under the blanket.<br/><br/>Honey does well with other calm dogs and would prefer an adult only home. She is currently being fostered with dogs and cats but does not have an affinity for the feline variety. She’s crate trained and is getting the hang of leash walking. Honey is both potty trained outside and with pee pads. She’s looking for a quiet forever home that can continue her training and provide her with the security and love she deserves.<br/><br/>A fenced-in yard would be a big plus for Honey, giving her a safe space to play and explore. She’s come so far already and just needs the right family to help her continue her journey.<br/><br/>If you're looking for a loyal, cuddly, and playful little companion, Honey is ready to meet you and share a lifetime of love.<br/><br/>Honey is fixed, up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention and microchipped. She also had a much needed dental with us so she is all ready to go! <br/><br/>IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS:<br/><br/>- The first step towards adoption is to complete an adoption application, which can be found online at our website www.roadtriprescues.com, under the “ADOPT” tab.<br/><br/>- Do not use the Petfinder links or email to ask us about our adoptable dog listings - we do not always receive these messages and will not respond to them.<br/><br/>- Please do not ask if a dog is still available - we do our best to update their status as quickly as possible.
