HONEY's Story
This beautiful shepherd mix is Honey! She was surrendered to the shelter on 4/17 because her owner didn't have time to care for her properly. It is noted that Honey is house-trained, which is great news! Honey is such a sweetheart, though clearly confused about the loud and overwhelming shelter environment. The volunteers describe Honey as friendly, curious, and intelligent. She seems to know the commands sit, shake, down, and stay. Honey is still quite young so she'd love an active family who will spend lots of time with her. If Honey sounds like a good fit for your family and lifestyle, please come meet her!

Honey is approximately 2.5 years old, and weighs 60 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, has been spayed and microchipped, and did test negative for heartworms. Honey is waiting patiently in kennel 46; her ID # is 18328.

Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER.

This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136.
