Hi I'm H O N E Y ?? <br/>If my name doesn't say it all, I'm as sweet as honey! I got my name based on my honey color. Want to get to know me? I am a 3 - 4 year old female staffy mix. I am up to date on vaccines, microchipped & I'm spayed ! Foster mom has done great work with getting me used to my kennel & potting outside. I'm on the smaller side weighing roughly 47lbs. Foster mom has me on Purina Pro Plan Sencitive Skin & Stomach because I was getting an upset stomach on my old food. I'm a all around happy go lucky girl? I like to roam around the yard & I get the occasional zoomies when I'm extra happy ?? when I am inside I like to cozy up on the couch with my family. I don't play with toys too often but I do like to tear up my plushy bears ? & chew on my nyla bones ? I LOVE kids & people ? My ideal forever home is one where there is NO other pets, a family that will work with me on training an be patient with me as it takes me a little to warm up after the abuse I have been through.

Healing Hounds Rescue's Adoption Policy
I have them fill out my foster/adoption contract and after receiving I call to vet them and understand their abilities and the type of dog they would like. We have a good hour long convo of everything from slow introductions, training, positive reinforcement, needs of the dog, and the adopters expectations. I either do a home check or ask for pictures of where the dog would be staying, sleeping, eating. Then we plan a meet and greet with adopter and adopters other animals or family members to see how the dog reacts. I want to set up my rescues for success and make sure it's a good fit for everyone.
