Honey's Story
***The Ark of Hope Rescue does not have an adoption fee but we do ask that you consider what The Ark of Hope Rescue does for all the animals that arrive here and make a monetary donation to the rescue. All the animals that come to the rescue have been abused, abandoned or neglected. Most come with large vet bills, the only means that we have to pay our bills, food, treats, bedding, toys...supplies are by your financial donations! Also this rescue is staffed CONPLETELY by volunteers, NO paid salaries here!
***After you read Honey's biography below, if you are interested in visiting him or any other dog here at The Ark go to: www.arkofhoperescue.org under the filmstrip of pictures you will see "The Adoption Procedure" click on that, scroll down to the bottom and click on “Dog Adoption Application.” Fill it out and attach it to an email (arkofhoperescue@yahoo.com) You will get an email confirmation when it is received. Then as soon as possible someone from The Ark will be in touch with you. Or you can call and ask for Dianne @ 301-478-3300.

***Why is this little sweetheart here?
We believe Honey is a Chihuahua / Cairn Terrier or some type of Terrier mix, approximately DOB November 2023 and nearly 16 pounds. Honey was a stray, was found in Cumberland MD. Honey went to a lady's house where she tried to find her owner but couldn't, so after a few days little Honey, as the little girl who brought her here with her mom has named her, because she is the color of honey. She is now spayed, vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and extremely loved! Honey is an incredible fun, playful, adorable puppy. She LOVES to play with other dogs, especially his new best friend Little Momma who is also here at The Ark waiting to be adopted. We believe if "they" could find the perfect family, with a fenced yard, they would want to adopt them together. A fenced yard to play would be great for this or these puppies to get the excise he or they need....Anyway, Honey really needs a home where she will get all the love and playtime a growing puppy needs and should have! She craves any kind of love from anyone and everyone. She also would love to lay around or just to cuddle and watch TV with but her favorite thing to do is play chase with her dog friends. She needs a family to love her and a family that she will love in return! Honey is an amazing puppy that would make the right family the perfect addition to their family!
If you may be that person or that family please follow the directions above in the second paragraph and let's make a meet and greet date! You can always call and ask for Dianne for more information 301-478-3300.
If you email the adoption application, put the dog's name in the subject line!
