Holly (The long game)'s Story
She's not a fixer-upper. She's a slow opener.

There's a difference, and Holly would like you to appreciate it.

Holly is the third sibling in what we're quietly calling the World's Shyest Litter, and she has fully committed to the family brand. Where her brother Nick is conducting interviews and her sister Merry is cautiously warming up, Holly is still reviewing your application. She's gentle, she's sweet, she means absolutely no harm — she just needs more time than most to believe that you do too.

She has never shown aggression. Not once. Her shyness runs deep but it comes from a tender place, not a damaged one, and that matters. Underneath it is a dog worth knowing — genuinely gentle, good with other dogs, and quietly waiting for the right person to come along and not give up on her.

That last part is important. Holly needs someone who won't give up.
She needs patience the way some dogs need a yard or a long walk — it's not optional, it's essential. But if you have it? If you're the kind of person who finds satisfaction in small victories and understands that trust earned slowly is trust that lasts — Holly will reward every bit of it.

Some dogs choose you in five minutes. Holly will choose you for life.
She just needs a little longer to get there.

Approved applications will be contacted to make an appointment for a 'meet and greet'. If the pup selects you, a second trip to the shelter will be required to pick them up and complete the adoption process.

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, had a wellness exam from our veterinarian, have been treated for fleas/worms and are up to date on vaccinations.

Please call the adoption team at 360-660-4661 or email doghousenbpaws@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Please LIKE us on Facebook at NORTH BEACH PAWS or visit our website at northbeachpaws.org.
