Holly's Story
Holly’s progress is the best thing you’ll see all day. 💕
She arrived shy and unsure, quietly taking everything in. Now, we’re seeing the curious girl who wants to explore, the playful girl who peeks out more each day, and the sweet soul who settles into moments of calm, thoughtful focus.
Holly finds joy in the smallest things. We are so proud of how far she’s come.
Sometimes the biggest miracles look like a gentle dog learning she is safe enough to be brave. Holly has done the hard work of finding her courage, now she just needs a family to love her for it.

Chicago Animal Care and Control is located at 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL, and is open from 12pm to 7pm daily. Walk-in visitors are welcome and helped on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are planning to adopt the day you visit, please plan to arrive before 5:30pm. Visitors arriving after 5:30pm will still be able to view animals in Pavilions A-B-C until 7pm.

All dogs will be spayed/neutered and vaccinated before adoption.

All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers).

We recommend and can arrange dog-to-dog meet and greets for your current dog(s) to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for your dog(s). Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.

If you have any questions, please email caccpetfinder@gmail.com

A305507
