Holly's Story

Holly is a gorgeous, joyful, and loving five-year-old, 55-pound, female Husky-mix with equal parts adventure buddy and snuggly couch companion looking for a loving guardian.

If you love road trips, long walks, and a dog who Holly has excellent house manners, Holly might just be the girl for you. She is fully housebroken, crate-trained, gentle taking treats, and never begs for human food. Indoors shes a calm, quiet couch potato; outdoors
she lights up with energy and enthusiasm. She hops right in the car and would be thrilled to join you on errands or weekend getaways.

Holly is extremely smart and trainable; she already knows sit, down, paw, other paw, roll over and possibly more that I havent asked of her. Holly does have a strong prey drive, so she thrills to see bunnies, squirrels and birds on her walks and needs a cat-free home.

On walks, shes typically friendly to other dogs and people too. She especially enjoys dogs smaller than herself. Shes not a dog park dog, but can easily go on group walks with other dogs.

Shes very comfortable on busy city streets, making her a great fit for urban living. Holly is quiet in the home, so easily can live in an apartment, condo, house, etc. Holly was fostered by a first-time dog person and did beautifully!

Holly is very healthy, spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm tested negative and on monthly prevention.

To meet and possibly adopt Holly, please fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-adoption-application/ and follow up by emailing friendsofpetraits@gmail.com to meet her. Her adoption fee of $150 benefits Friends of Petraits Rescue and includes everything you need to care for her!

She is being fostered in Chicagos Andersonville neighborhood.
