Meet Holly ?<br/>Holly is a 14-year-old Shih Tzu mix with a heart as gentle as her eyes. After her owner passed away, she and two other dogs were left alone in an unoccupied home for many months. When one of our Underdog volunteers found her, poor Holly was completely matted and overgrown — but even then, her sweet spirit shone through.<br/><br/>Now in a loving foster home, Holly has blossomed into a true angel. Her foster mom describes her as “an absolute sweetheart” who is perfectly house-trained and always eager to be the first one out — and the first one back in!<br/><br/>Holly is looking for a quiet, cozy home to spend her golden years surrounded by love. She enjoys the company of other dogs and adores being doted on. She would do better in a house with a fence yard. If you work from home and have another dog or two at home, that would be the perfect place for Holly. Applicants are subject to a home visit, and veterinary references will be checked. Please include a vet reference (including phone number) when applying online.<br/><br/>Our application process:<br/>FIRST, an application must be approved for adoption from our rescue.<br/>SECOND, we determine whether the dog that has been applied for is a "good match" for the household that wants to adopt him/her. We take into consideration the dog's activity level, compatibility with other members of the household (human and other pets), etc.<br/>If your application has been approved, but the dog you applied for is no longer available, please take the time and look over our adoptable dogs again.
