Another sad story... another dog lost in the shuffle.<br/><br/>This is Holland. <br/><br/>Back in 2023, his life was on the line... he was on the euthanasia list.<br/><br/>An adopter stepped up and asked for him to be saved, promising to come for him... but never did.<br/>A kind stranger then paid for him to go into boarding so his life could be spared until a rescue stepped in. But no one ever came.<br/><br/>Without anyone advocating for him, Holland has <br/>simply been waiting... and waiting.<br/><br/>But we saw Holland. <br/><br/>We saw his story, one that's all too common in rescue. A dog's life saved... but still left behind.<br/>Now safe, in Maine, and around 7 years old, Holland is ready for something he's never truly had. <br/><br/>A forever home to spend his golden years.<br/><br/>He's calm, laid back, and happiest just relaxing. He's dog friendly but is a mellow boy who prefers to mind his own business... basking in the sun, snoozing on the couch, or soaking in all the love and belly rubs he can get right by your side.
