He's spent the last few months in a foster home learning what it's like to be safe. He is estimated to be 8 years old. When he came to us he was in bad shape. But now...his fur is growing in, and his skin is looking better than it probably ever has before! At his neuter, he had 11 teeth extracted, and a wart removed from his paw. Now he's fully vetted and feeling better than ever!<br/><br/>Hoggle enjoys rotating through an assortment of comfy spots, and observing the household. Toys are slowly gaining his interest. He gets excited to see you, but he doesn't want you to do anything but tell him hi, and maybe give him some cheese. See, cat! Hoggle only wants attention on his terms. He is learning that pets are okay, but still views humans mostly as his servants. Again....cat! Food, water, comfy spots, please and thank you - and then you can leave. Don't let the door hit you on your way to get more treats. <br/><br/>Hoggle is crate trained, and potty trained if on a schedule (he doesn't yet know how to tell his people that he needs to go outside). He needs a home with a fenced in yard, and would prefer to have a doggy sibling to help him learn the routine. No children under 10 in the home or as regular visitors - sudden movements and loud noises are still very scary for Hoggle. <br/><br/>This sweet boy deserves to have a person who will be patient with him, and show him how great life can be.<br/><br/>Hoggle's adoption fee is $400!
