Hogan's Story
Meet Hogan: A 100lb Heart of Gold Seeking His Solo Adventure Partner
Hogan is a 5-year-old German Shepherd/Staffy mix who is the definition of a "velvet hippo" with a Shepherd’s loyalty. Since his adoption in 2022, he has worked incredibly hard on his training and is ready for his forever home.

The Best of Hogan:
• Perfect House Manners: Fully house-trained and zero issues with destructive chewing—he knows exactly which toys are his.
• The Ultimate Co-Pilot: He lives for car rides! While he needs a reminder to "sit and be quiet" during the drive, he is the best travel companion.
• Play Professional: He could play fetch all day and loves settling down with a good bone.
• Trained & Eager: He is e-collar trained and highly motivated by treats and positive reinforcement.

Hogan’s Ideal Match:
Hogan is a big, strong boy (100 lbs) who is happiest as the "only child." Because he can be protective of his favorite spots and toys, he needs an adult-only home without small children. He knows his "leave it" command well, but he needs a confident leader who can provide consistent structure and safety-minded management.
If you’re looking for a sweet, playful soul to go on adventures with, Hogan is your guy.
