Hobo **Courtesy Listing for Luke's Legacy**'s Story

HOBO is a 2-year-old neutered 60ish-pound male. He has been wandering around the Reservation for over a year lawn surfing. Good people had been feeding him. Hobo started running with the wrong crowd and got picked up by the police. Since he did not belong to anybody, I was called in June to take him in. Since being here, he has learned house training and crate training along with all the skills that come with being in a home. We have had him neutered and his eyes fixed since he had bilateral entropion. Poor thing couldn’t hardly open his eyes and looked like he was crying.
He does great on a leash and can use a dog door. He’s initially shy with people at first but once he trusts you, he’s a faithful friend. I would recommend him only for older, respectful children as I don't know how he would be with smaller ones. He’s not perfect but is a great dog. He tends to mouth the butts (pinch) of people he doesn’t know so you it would be smart if you had company to just put him outside or somewhere he feels safe until he gets over that. Hobo is a good boy and he plays with other female and male dogs here. He just needs appropriate introductions and will be fine. He's never had a real home. Rescue is the closest he's come. Hobo respects a fenced yard and isn't a barker.

To Apply: https://forms.gle/8tFzSsi36ECEYfDR9

You may also submit a letter of introduction via email to emwllrd@gmail.com
describing the home you can provide.
