Please be nice to me, I'm just a scared little puppy.<br/><br/>My name is Hobbs and I was rescued by the Hope 4 Paws animal control department after they received a report of a critically injured dog. Early reports suggested that I had two broken legs but the staff quickly discovered that I was merely too scared to walk. That's right - I was paralyzed with fear. I am still quite timid around new faces and flinch when strangers reach toward me. The staff sadly believes I was mistreated in my previous home. I will need a patient family who can provide the guidance and gentle reassurance I need to thrive. Once comfortable, I love to zoom around, squeak my stuffies and play wrestle with my human friends. <br/><br/>Like any cute puppy I come pre-programmed with potty accidents and little piranha teeth. Please be patient with me as I learn to practice my bathroom habits outside. Mom says I am doing great with "number 2" but accidentally tinkle inside when I am nervous or over excited. My leash skills are greatly improving along with my basic commands. Can you believe that I didn't even know how to walk on my leash when I first arrived?
