This beautiful girls name is Hilda and she is a 3 year old Lab- Pyrenees mix who weighs about 75 lbs. Hilda had a rough start to life, she was abandoned on a farm down South and gave birth to her puppies under a chicken coop. From poor nutrition Hilda's front legs are deformed. She can still walk and does a great job getting around, even jumps up on the couch for some love. Hilda is nervous with new people at first, it does take her a bit to warm, but who can blame her after all she has been through. She sleeps under her foster mom's desk during the day, that has become her safe space. A fenced in yard would be best for Hilda, so she has somewhere safe to be outside if she gets scared, she cannot run off. Once she trusts you its kisses and snuggles going forward. When you find an animal you are interested in, we ask that you fill out an application as a first step so we can determine if your family is a good fit for the animal. If you are, then we will contact you to arrange a time for you and your family to meet the animal so you can decide if it is a good fit. If you currently have dogs, we require that the dogs be present at the meeting to make sure it's a good fit all around.
