Hilary's Story

Hilary is an approximately 4-5 year old, 40 pound, Lab/Pointer Mix found emaciated on the streets of Puerto Rico. For over 3 long years she has been waiting to be adopted. Many rescues have said they will bring her to the US only to back out or have it fall through. Hilary’s foster Mom in Puerto Rico says she holds no grudge about this and all love, play, curiosity and energy.Hilary loves everything and everyone. Great with other dogs, doesn’t react to cats, kids, you name it. When Hilary was found she was so skinny her body was rejecting food and she had to be spoon fed multiple times a day until her body would accept food. Happy and friendly Hilary deserves to finally have a forever place to land, it has been far too long. Hilary’s foster Mom in Maine says she loves to run, spin and jump around so she would love an active home to show off her zoomies.
