Meet Hike! <br/>This little man may be named Hike, but his journey has been the real adventure! <br/>Hike came to us as part of a hoarding situation, and at about 4 years old, this terrier mix is still learning all about the big, wide world. It’s clear he didn’t get much socialization in his past, so he can be very shy and unsure at first. But look at him now! With a little patience, kindness, and time, Hike blossoms into the sweetest little guy who absolutely loves cuddles and kisses! <br/>He’s even become a leash-walking pro and has discovered that going outside isn’t quite as scary as he once thought! <br/>Because Hike is still building his confidence, he would do best in a calm, low-traffic home without children where he can continue learning at his own pace. He has lived with other dogs and did well, so he has potential to have a canine sibling pending a proper introduction. <br/>Hike may need a little extra time to feel comfortable, but once he trusts you, you’ll see what a special little guy he truly is. <br/>Could you be the patient person Hike has been waiting for?
