HICKORY

Hickory, so named because he is a strong, sweet little man who has not let his troubles bring him down. Hickory agrees that 'the only disability in life is a bad attitude.' Hickory came to us after tangling with a bunch of mules. They had been kicking him and in the process damaged his right eye to the point that it needed to be removed. He has also lost sight in the left eye. BUT he prevailed. He is a sweet lovable boy. And funny! Gets along with everyone and everything. He might growl when he 'meets' a new person or when he smells a new person in his space and until they pet him and he knows they LIKE him, he is a bit unsure. He just needs to know you mean him no harm. THEN you are his buddy. He likes to snuggle. Lay in your lap. VERY good at helping on the computer! He tucks his little face in the crook of your arm and off to sleep he goes. Snorting away. He is a happy little man. Just waiting for someone to love!
