HICKORY

Hickory was rescued when he was just a pup(10 wks old) and has just turned 2 yrs old in the rescue. He is a mixed breed boy and weighs around 60lbs. He seems to do better with women, although he has been fine in his foster home with the husband. He does play outside with his brother and the foster dogs he is used to. He does resource guard his kennel and is food protective(he did come to us starving). These 2 things are very easy to manage. He is extremely sweet and very smart. He will require at least a 6 ft privacy fence as he can climb & escape chainlink. He has been exposed to a larger property and we do have video of him playing with a young goat and doing well. Cats unknown. He is crate and house trained on a schedule. His adoption fee is $250. If you are open to adopting him and his brother Wally we do offer a discount.
