He’s a very sweet boy.<br/><br/>How he got his name: Hiccup is the lead character in How to Train Your Dragon. His foster family had recently watched the movie and were trying all kinds of names to see what he responded to. He got so excited when we called him Hiccup so he chose it himself.<br/><br/>Hiccup was rescued from a local business garage where he had made his home for a while. It took us 2 hours to capture him, and get him unloaded safely to his new foster home. He went full on bucking bronco, and needed a long time to decompress.<br/><br/>He’s doing well, he is building confidence and trusting us. Leash training will happen later when he is ready.<br/><br/>SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Adoption fees are $300 for dogs under 1 year old, $250 for dogs 1-7 years old, $200 for dogs over 7 years old. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
