Hiccup's Story
Hiccup came to the shelter with a severely damaged leg - a break that was not properly cared for. The leg was healing with the bones not being set, resulting in pain and non weight bearing. Hiccup's leg has been amputated and he has been recovering in foster care ever since.

His foster mom says "he is doing wonderfully!" "He is truly one of the snuggliest, sweetest dogs I’ve ever met."

His leg amputation has now healed and his mobility is great, and he doesn’t let it slow him down at all.

Hiccup is reported to be a world-class cuddler. He would do well in a home with children and/or another dog. He is very dog-friendly. and very social with new people.

He loves his bones and playing tug. He’s very food-motivated and will sit for a treat. Hiccup is housebroken. Hiccup is 7-8 months old, 35 lbs, and is a Hound mix.

He is a happy, playful, and incredibly loving young dog who will make a fantastic addition to a loving family.
