Hestia's Story

Sweet old souls are just the bees knees and we love our ladies that are looking for refined living, LOTS of pets, and in return will be your shadow. Hestia is an adult lab mixed (likely mixed with lots
of stuff) who is a nice medium gal weighing about 42 lbs on the lean side. Hestia is an adult who is ISO a cozy, quiet and loving home where she can live a life of luxury. She does well sharing space primarily with male dogs
but is not interested in much ado and young silliness as she desires to live an adult life. Hestia would do well with walks though doesn't require runs or strenuous hikes to be happy. She is wonderful in her crate and ready for time out but again, has eyes only for people. Velcro dog in the making, this lady and her soulful eyes will win you over in no time flat.
*Sleepover feedback: " Hestia is a sweet loving girl. She loves snuggling, sleeping, and of course food- especially sweet potatoes !
Hestia is completely house trained. She goes potty only outdoors. She is also great on a leash.
She loves humans - but is not too social with other dogs or cats. She is a lovely girl who will bring comfort and joy to anyone who provides her with a forever home.
*Additional feedback: " Hestia was the perfect lady and a great contender for a wonderful forever friend. Everyone she met was impressed by her demeanor and the love she wanted to share. She was confident while on walks, respectful while in public places like restaurant patios- I think she would thrive in either a quiet home or social downtown life. My favorite quirk is how much of a puddle she becomes with a belly rub. Go for the belly and she will become the happiest dog.
*She has a wonderfully balanced personality-chill when it is time to rest, yet playful and incredibly affectionate, with a strong love for belly rubs. Hestia is also excellent with people; she was completely relaxed and friendly when meeting my next-door neighbor, an older boy, and two young children on bicycles.

Saving Grace Animals for Adoption's Adoption Policy
All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $395.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. Our Adoption Request Form can be completed online at our website at https://savinggracenc.org/adopt/. An Adoption Request Form is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home. Sending an Adoption Form does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. If you'd like to donate to help cover the cost of care for these wonderful dogs awaiting new homes, please visit the donate page on our website at https://savinggracenc.org/give/donate-now/. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
