They networked with rescues and found us, so he made his way to Okaloosa County and the Rescued Rescuers. <br/><br/>He had severe skin infections (and no fur!), badly infected ears, eyes so dry they didn't register on the tear test paper, several growths and some pretty broken teeth. We've spent the last couple of months trying to get his skin and ear infections cleared up so we can start moving forward with other things that need to be done (no surgery with a skin infection because that can introduce bad things into a pups body and cause all kinds of problems). <br/><br/>His skin is looking much better (still getting rid of some of the infection), and he's even started to get new growth all over (albeit sparse and very, very fine). We don't know if he'll ever get a full coat back, but we are just glad our little nekkid boy is getting healthier. Plus the nekkid look is in these days, right? (That's what his foster mom keeps telling him...) <br/><br/>He won't be adoptable until the infections are cleaned up, the growths are tested/removed and the teeth are dealt with, but he's already been capturing hearts with his sweet face. Everyone who has ever met him says he is the absolute SWEETEST boy. This information will be verified by your vet. If your pet(s) are not up to date on their annual shots, please make an appointment with your vet and take care of this prior to submitting an application. We will not approve any application until all vetting on current pets within the home is completed.
