Hershey's Story

Hershey is just a girl waiting in the world for someone to notice her! We picked this sweet girl off of a high-volume shelter’s dreaded ‘EU list.’ Hershey had already been extended for good behavior once, but they ran out of space and she found herself at risk again. That’s when it happened – someone noticed her. Now she’s here, in CO, awaiting her forever home. Hershey has an endearing sweet soul, big (ok huge) ears, a cute curly tail and little white ankle socks. She’s packed full of love for her humans and canine friends alike. Hershey gives hugs and loves all the snuggles. She takes treats nicely and is overall a quiet dog who rarely barks. She’s smart, attentive, agile, and fit. She walks decently on a leash, rides well in a car, is kennel trained, and sleeps through the night. She has been doing beautifully in the routine of a foster home and being around other dogs.

Hershey is a healthy girl and is around 2 years old. She’s medium in stature and when she fills out should be 40-45 pounds at ideal weight. Hershey requests a fenced yard to accommodate her entertaining zoomies and a family that promises to never let her be hungry or forgotten again. In return, she promises to give them her whole heart in return.

Hershey is being fostered in Fort Collins, Colorado.

*We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.*

You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/hershey-2/.

You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.
