Although one of our larger mutts, Herringbone is a consummate gentleman, taking treats gently from our volunteers and getting along swimmingly with the smaller doggos. This gentle, loving boy is happiest when he's close to his people, whether that's cuddling on the couch, soaking up pets, or sneaking in a few extra kisses. He's a total homebody in the best way and brings such a calm, cozy energy to the house.<br/><br/>He's incredibly well-mannered and fully potty trained. He'll politely let you know when he needs to go out, then come right back in and resume his favorite activity: relaxing. At night, he sleeps peacefully in his own bed (with the cutest little snores), and in the mornings, he fully supports a slow start to the day. No early alarms required.<br/><br/>Herringbone gets along great with dogs of all sizes and has a playful side, but he's mostly about the simple pleasures in life: snacks (his absolute favorite), love, and leisurely walks where he can stop and sniff to his heart's content.
