Hero - URGENT!

Hero's time is nearly up at the Nevada County Shelter - we would love to find him a home or even fosterhome - can you help? Here is what they say about him:<br><br>Hero is an ABANDONED Or STRAY Puppy Dog: <br/>adoption date is 12-12-05 and can be put to sleep any time after the adoption date. This nice lady was jogging along when Hero joined her, he jogged along for 6 miles and just wouldn't go home, so she brought him to the animal shelter so he wouldn't get hit by a car. At our best guess Hero is around 1 year old, is Large in size, walks on a leash, sits when asked, he appears to be VERY loving, Sweet, playful, smart, alert, well mannered, obedient, and SUPER friendly. This young man appears to have a very kind and gentle heart. While I was in Hero's kennel, I gave a little test by looking in his mouth, pulling on his ears and tail, holding his paw and giving him a little kiss and hug. Hero appeared to past the test for me like a good boy, We feel Hero may make a loving, loyal family member and wonderful jogging companion. If you wish he can be tested at the shelter around dogs and cats.
