Hermine's Story

Hermine is 50 lbs., playful, affectionate, and super sweet. She is around 3 years old and looks like a Labrador/golden retriever mix. Typical of those breeds, she loves water and she will play fetch as long as someone will throw the ball. She is food motivated and takes treats very gently, so she’s easy to train and she has no toy or food aggression. Hermine loves toys and amuses herself with every toy in the basket. Her favorite is the Planet Dog Squeak ball and she carries it around, runs with it and bounces it. She has excellent house manners and has had zero potty accidents. When meeting new people, she is shy and hesitant at first, but once comfortable she is eager to be petted. She is fine and unafraid in the house, regular household noises, including the vacuum, don’t bother her. However, getting in the car and going on outings is still new to her. She is not dominant and follows the lead of other dogs. Hermine’s ultimate goal in life is to find a permanent home with a fenced yard, a loving family who isn't away from home for long periods, and at least one other energetic, playful canine companion to show her the ropes and be her best friend.

For additional information about Hermine please email Marla Cox: mclabs4rescue@gmail.com

Hermine is being fostered in the northeast.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: We receive many questions about our adoption process from potential adopters, most of which can be answered by viewing our "Adopt a Lab" page on our full service website, (https://labs4rescue.com/adopt).
