Meet Herman! Herman came to CCHS when he was found as a stray near County Hwy H, Neillsville. Herman is a mixed breed, and we can't say for sure what his breed mix is. We can say for sure that he is one big handsome dog! He is about 2 years old and weighs 73.2#. He has a good-looking short-haired black and white coat. Herman is an energetic guy who loves to get out in our big Pen 180 to run around. He has a big ole bark, but that's just to let you know he wants attention. Herman will probably do best as the only pet in his new home where he'd like to be treated as a king! With any puppy, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the pup. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption. <br/><br/>CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP.
