Posted February 23, 2026<br/>Herman is a 7-8 year, male, brown, Shih Tzu who weighs 7lbs. He was an owner surrender with several other Shih Tzu. Herman is the smallest and definitely the most shy of the group. He really needs someone with an abundance of patience and love to give him. He will need to be housetrained. He is curious, but not trusting as of yet. He would probably enjoy being around another dog. Looking for a sweet foster to help this precious little guy get settled. He is not leash trained, so a secure yard is mandatory. He is improving daily. Fully vetted to include a dental. Herman is ready to go. <br/>Adoption fee $400<br/>We are always looking for foster homes for our rescued hearts sweeties. Maybe your home can be one of them.

They complete application and it reviewed.They are contacted by Rescued Hearts and converse about the dog. Home visit is scheduled to make sure of safe environment, see if current pets are compatible.. If approved they will pay adoption fee. If something happens and they cannot keep pet, they will return to us.
