Meet Herbert! This adorable 4-year-old French Bulldog was found as a stray and transferred to us from Boston Animal Control. We are still getting to know Herbie here, but we know he is very friendly with people and other dogs. Since we do not have any history on him, we will not place him in a home with kids under the age of 12. Like many Frenchies, Herbert is very sensitive to heat and needs a family who will monitor him in higher temperatures. We typically receive many applications for every dog we post. All adoption meetings are by appointment.<br/><br/>Our dog adoption fee is $450 for dogs aged seven months to seven years old, and $250 for dogs aged eight years and older. Every dog we place receives age-appropriate vaccines, is treated for worms, ticks, and fleas, tested for heartworm, microchipped, and spayed or neutered before adoption. We send each dog home with a collar and leash. Please fill out the adoption application if you would like to be considered for a dog in our care.<br/><br/>With few exceptions, dogs are happiest and well-behaved when they receive daily exercise and ongoing training, so we always prefer to place our dogs with families willing to commit to both.
