His name is Henry, and he is a happy 9 years young guy who weighs in at a whopping 21 lbs. He’s a bit of a roly poly boy who needs the will power of his human to help him slim down. He lovvvvees soft toys and might quite possibly enjoy a furry house mate to play with to work off some of those “pounds”. Henry also enjoys his walks, so he’d like an agile family who can keep up with his “walkies”. He is a very smart little guy who needs a family that will adhere to his new diet so he can be that handsome slimmer boy he once was! <br/><br/>Henry came to VIP via Animal services, he was microchipped and when his human was contacted and informed that he had been “found” the human said no we don’t want him. Good grief, all we can do at this point is shake our head and move on with him. VIP Rescue didn’t and wouldn’t ever say no to him, Are you looking for a loveable handsome boy to care for and spoil him like he deserves? Oh, except no spoiling with food or treats until he sheds a few pounds A healthy diet is what Henry needs, and his foster home will discuss that with you. <br/><br/>Bonus! Henry is potty trained and has house manners! Woohoo! He recently had a dental, his mouth was a mess and very neglected, so he also needed some extractions. While he was sedated, he had a lumpy bump removed from his back and is now on his way to his best life ever. VIP will make SURE of that. <br/><br/>Henry has been neutered, is current on his vaccines, microchipped, and is current on heartworm and flea prevention.<br/><br/>Is Henry the guy for you? are you the furever home Henry is looking for? <br/><br/>Adoption applications can be found on our website VIPRescue.org Apply today to welcome Henry into your home. <br/><br/>Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If youve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 15-18 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pets estimated lifespan.<br/><br/>All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient.
