Henry's Story

Meet Henry!

Henry is a handsome 5-month-old Lab mix weighing 27 pounds with a heart as big as his puppy paws. His journey began in the woods of Yauco, Puerto Rico, where he and his sisters, Harriet and Hazel, were born. Thankfully, they were rescued and given a second chance, spending time in a loving foster home before making their way to New Jersey.

Henry was recently adopted, but unfortunately his family realized they were not prepared for the time and energy that comes with raising an active puppy. As difficult as that decision was, they wanted Henry to have the opportunity to find a home that can fully meet his needs.

Like any young puppy, Henry is full of energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm. He loves to play, explore, and be with his people. At just five months old, he is still learning the ropes and will thrive with a family that is committed to continuing his training, providing structure, and giving him plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.

Henry is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and eager to please. With patience, consistency, and love, he has all the makings of an amazing lifelong companion. He gets along well with other dogs and is ready to find a family that understands puppies don't come perfectly trained—they grow into incredible dogs with guidance and commitment.

Henry has already overcome so much in his young life. Now all he needs is a forever family that will give him the chance he truly deserves.

Could that be you?

To meet Henry, please fill out an adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/91758283848171
